  46.         Pipx was constructed with Parallel Technologies' advanced parallel
  47.         port software, which has been used in over 15 parallel port devices
  48.         including network adapters, parallel port disks, parallel port
  49.         wireless IR adapters, parallel port MIDI interfaces, and so forth.

  111.         A handy utility which examines your system's parallel ports and
  112.         reports the Port Type, IO address, IRQ level, BIOS name, and an
  113.         assortment of informative notes and warnings in a compact and easy
  114.         to read display. The output may be redirected to a file for tech
  115.         support purposes. Parallel uses very sophisticated techniques for
  116.         port and IRQ detection and is aware of a broad range of quirky port
  117.         features.

  140.         Performance is better than you might expect, ranging from a low
  141.         end of 40 KBps between 4BIT ports all the way up to an effective
  142.         200 KBps between EPP ports using our TURBO cable. This upper range
  143.         is better than many ethernet ISA cards.

  146.         types typically used with laplink type products are also supported.

  149.     The MultiPort Parallel Port Expansion System

  152.         The MultiPort 4-port multiplexor turns your parallel port into
  153.         a general purpose expansion system, capable of supporting up to
  154.         four simultaneously operating parallel port peripherals including
  155.         network adapters, portable hard drives, tape backup units, CDROMs,
  156.         floppies, and so forth. For example, you can use the MultiPort Mux
  157.         to attach a network adapter, a hard disk, a CD-ROM, and a printer,
  158.         all operating together through a single parallel port.
